What Jev does under the hood, which questions are asked, and what each answer means.
01 — The engine
What is Jev?
Jev is the AI decision engine from TypeSafe AI. Instead of returning free-form text it returns typed answers: a probability, a score on a scale, or a fixed choice from a defined set. Results are consistent, comparable, and threshold-able across every resume.
Primitive
What it returns
Example output
Noul
A probability from 0.0 to 1.0
0.82
Score

Choice

02 — Process
The screening pipeline
Each resume goes through a five-step pipeline before a result lands in the table.
1
Extract text from the PDF (all pages, no formatting)
2
Combine the job description and resume text into a single context block
3
Send that context to Jev along with all active questions in one request
4
Receive typed answers back. No summarisation, no bullet points.
5
Compute Fit Confidence from the Noul answer and compare it to your threshold to decide shortlist status

05 — Roadmap
What's coming
This is a proof of concept. These features may land in future versions.
Job URL input
Paste a job posting URL and let the app fetch the description automatically. Works for most public pages; sites like LinkedIn and Naukri require a proxy layer.
Proxy fetching for blocked sites
Support for ScraperAPI or a self-hosted proxy so that job boards that block direct requests can still be fetched reliably.
Batch export
Download screening results as a CSV or Excel file.
Custom question builder
Define your own Jev questions beyond the built-in set.
